engineer to support our programs delivering Next-Generation Missile
Warning software. This is a unique opportunity to join a small
business delivering core capabilities for National defense. You
will work within a fast-paced team delivering end-to-end software
processing of Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) sensor data for
Missile Warning, Missile Defense, Battlespace Awareness, and
Technical Intelligence. Candidates will develop, implement, and run
engineering processes in support of a large Agile software
development program. SciTec seeks a candidate who will thrive in a
collaborative environment where they can solve challenging
engineering problems in support of critical national security
objectives.Responsibilities
- Work with customers and internal stakeholders to generate
robust software requirements
- Analyze existing requirements to provide implementation
guidance to SciTec software developers
- Create and review system architectures to deliver high value
software to our government customers
- Analyze and document software for standards conformance
- Perform risk management analysis on current programs
- Additional duties as required and assigned
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, physical
sciences or mathematics
- At least 5 years of relevant work experienceas a systems
engineer
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and
Systems Modeling Language (SysML)
- The ability to well with a collaborative team focusing on
delivering customer value
- Detail oriented
- Good verbal and written communication skillsCandidates who have
any of the following skills will be preferred
- Current TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for Sensitive
Compartmented Information(SCI)
- Prior experience with support to or development of software
applications in languages such as C, C++, Python, or Rust
- Familiarity with TCP/IP networking
- Experience integrating systems involving external stakeholders
(contractor partners, Government customers)
- Academic credentials or industry certification (e.g. INCOSE) in
systems engineering.
- Experience with the design or operation of Overhead Persistent
Infrared sensor systems, ground segments, or exploitation tooling
- Familiarity with the Cameo suite of tools is particularly
desired
- Experience in developing software to exploit OPIR, E/O, SAR,
Spectral, RF, Radar or other remotely sense data*Resumes, Cover

- Flexible Work HoursThe pay range for this position is $96,000 -
$140,000 / year. SciTec considers several factors when extending an
offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and
associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience,
education/training, and key skills. This is not a guarantee of
