Field Service Specialist - Position is remote worker may be based anywhere in the U.S.

Job Duties: Support regional customer support activities. Plan, execute, and complete administrative preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of instrumentation for processes and laboratory instrumentation. Perform on-site start-up, preventive maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of instrumentation. Perform all planning and execute administrative activities in support of onsite maintenance activities. Serve as on-site customer contact for technical and service-related problems. Instruct customer in proper preventive maintenance and operation of equipment. Submit prompt, accurate service reports that affect billing, inventory, instrument history, and instrument failure. Identify service and instrumentation opportunities and escalate information to the appropriate sales channel. Work, and take direction from, Division Service Manager/dispatch team to optimize and efficiently execute service routing for all preventative maintenance and emergency fix visit requirements. Coordinate with territory leadership and stockroom managers to determine appropriate replacement parts inventory, efficient parts utilization, and maintain accurate inventory records. Submit prompt, accurate expense reports. Approximately 75% domestic travel required

Education and Experience Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent plus two (2) years of experience as a technician within industrial, municipal, waste water analytical instrumentation.

Experience must include: Conducting maintenance, routine repair and calibration/verification of instrumentation for process and laboratory instrumentation; Preventative Maintenance (PM), on-site start-up, routine repair, advance troubleshooting and advance repair, calibration/certification of instrumentation on water analytical products including: Chlorine analyzers; Turbidity monitors; Total Organic Carbon (TOC) and TOC/TN/TP( Total Organic Carbon/Total Nitrate/Total Phosphorous) analyzers; Total Suspended Solids; Dissolved Oxygen; PH and Alkalinity; Nitrates/Nitrogen and ozone probes specific to beverage industry and sludge monitors.
