Job Description:
This position is responsible for managing and directing a sales
force to achieve sales and profit goals within a specified
area.Essential Duties:Directly supervising 3 to 5 employees in the
Sales DepartmentRegularly contacting customer base by phone and/or
traveling through assigned territory to solicit orders and
establish new relationshipsCall and maintain a customer
baseDeveloping and implementing strategic sales plans to
accommodate corporate goalsHiring/training employees, directing
sales, forecasting activities, preparing reports, setting
performance goals, and assigning new sales
territoriesRecommending/approving budget, expenditures, and
appropriations for research and development workPerforming other
duties as assigned to meet business needsQualifications:Bachelor s
Degree from a four-year university or five years related
experience/equivalent combination of education and
experienceCurrent driver s license and auto insurance requiredMust
be able to calculate amounts such as discounts, commissions,
proportions, percentagesMust be flexible and willing to work the
demands of the department which are subject to evenings, weekends,
and holidaysKnowledge of Accounting, Database, Internet, Ordering
and Inventory software as well as Word and ExcelMust be able to use
a laptopSalary of $70,000 to $120,000 with annual bonus potential
depending on competency, experience, qualifications and skills plus
annual bonus potential.Shamrock anticipates closing the application
