Technician / Technologist Location: Golden, CO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,449 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position Job Title: Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist Profession: Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist Specialty: Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (0700-1730) Experience: Two (2) years of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab preferred. License: Registered ARRT or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required within 18 months of hire. Registered Respiratory Therapist with CV specific certification may also be considered. Certifications: BLS - American Heart Association required. Current ACLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association required. Fluoroscopy Certification required. Must-Have: Technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures. Patient care under the supervision of the RN. Assistance to physicians in radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures. Maintenance of sterile conditions during clinical procedures. Operation of imaging equipment and monitoring/documenting procedure images and events. Education to patients and families regarding procedures and expectations. Teaching patients and families about pre and post-procedure conditions. Maintenance of order and cleanliness of the unit and stock levels for procedures. Completion of daily, progress, and discharge documentation according to departmental standards. Participation in quality and patient safety initiatives. Identification of potential areas for improvement and safety hazards. Promotion of mission, vision, and values, as well as adherence to service behavior standards. Description: Provides technical support in the cardiac catheterization laboratory during invasive cardiovascular procedures. Provides patient care under the supervision of the RN. Assists physicians in radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures. Acts as a scrub assistant, maintaining sterile conditions during clinical procedures. Operates imaging equipment and works in the control room monitoring and documenting procedure images and events. Educates patients and families regarding the procedure and expectations. Teaches patients and families about pre and post-procedure physical conditions. Assists in maintaining order and cleanliness of the unit. Maintains appropriate stock levels for complex interventions and diagnostic procedures. Completes daily, progress, and discharge documentation according to departmental standards. Accurately documents productivity information. Participates in quality and patient safety initiatives. Identifies potential areas for improvement, including streamlined or revised processes for patient satisfaction. Identifies potential safety hazards and takes appropriate actions.
