Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking dedicated and compassionate registered
nurses for the NICU Float Pool in the Metro Denver area to provide
top-tier care during night shifts. This role demands dynamic
nursing professionals who can adapt to various neonatal intensive
care units across the UCHealth system. The ideal candidates are
those committed to delivering patient-centered care, demonstrating
flexibility, and possessing a deep understanding of neonatal health
issues. Provide critical care to newborns with varying degrees of
illnesses in the NICU. Adjust quickly to the differing protocols
and practices of various hospital NICUs within the system.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to formulate and implement
patient care plans. Use patient-centered care principles to improve
patient outcomes. Participate in continuous education sessions and
team meetings. Maintain precise documentation of patient diagnosis,
treatment plans, and progress. Proficiency in neonatal
resuscitation and stabilization Ability to operate NICU-specific
medical equipment High proficiency in IV insertion and management
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Strong
adaptability to different care environments Medical Insurance
