Job Description:

UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Float Pool through our specialized Fellowship program. This role involves supporting multiple ICUs across our hospital network, providing a unique opportunity to gain diverse clinical experiences while delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. The fellowship is designed to enhance clinical skills and knowledge in critical care, offering hands-on training and mentorship by seasoned ICU professionals. Provide direct nursing care in multiple ICU settings according to established guidelines. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs. Manage medication administration and operate medical equipment. Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care. Document patient care services and adjust care plans as necessary. Participate in educational sessions and provide mentorship to nursing staff. Strong clinical skills in critical care Ability to adapt to new environments and teams Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Proficiency in using medical software and patient care technology Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state of Colorado ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) BLS (Basic Life Support) certification CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) certification is preferred
