About the jobDanone in ESSENTIAL DAIRY & PLANT-BASED & REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE Procurement is looking for a Milk Valorization Manager in Broomfield, CO (L9)
Responsible for overseeing and executing the Milk Valorization project portfolio within the procurement team, the Milk Valorization manager will foster collaboration within our Dairy industry network and cross-functional Danone teams to successfully implement projects.
Milk Valorization stands as a cornerstone strategy within Danone, focusing on two primary pillars to optimize and maximize the value from every drop of milk collected: Optimize Internal value (cost & waste reduction, leverage current assets, product superiority..) and create a profitable ingredient business unit (leverage assets across the Danone Global network) Milk valorization embodies Danone's commitment to innovation, sustainability, and strategic optimization, ensuring the effective utilization of resources while delivering superior value to customers and stakeholders across the value chain.15% Domestic Travel ExpectedManage communication channels between Danone Procurement, PMO, Cross-functional teams and Dairy suppliers. Proactively seek out new technologies, methodologies, and process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and sustainability Supervise and coordinate milk processing timelines/trials/next steps to ensure adherence to quality standards, cost targets, and production schedules . Effectively plan, execute, and monitor milk valorization projects from initiation to completion. Define & Review key performance indicators (KPIs) related to milk valorization projects, such as yield, efficiency, and waste reduction. Identify and address any issues or roadblocks that arise during project implementation, work with the team to develop solutions and minimize impact on project outcomes . Identify lessons learned and best practices from completed projects, incorporating feedback and insights into future project planning and execution (Continuous Improvement) Act as a company ambassador & Share the Milk Valorization story (internally/externally) Contribute to the overall milk supply & Regenerative Agriculture strategy.
The base compensation range for this position is $75,000-113,000
commensurate with experience. Transversal Projects leadership
Lead the execution of the Milk valorization projects across the C&P Procurement Milk, Plant Based and Regenerative Ag team. Work closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) to adhere to established processes and methodologies. Define the implementation strategy of such projects. Establish and maintain effective communication channels across departments to facilitate successful project execution. Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Professional Experience/Education required:
Minimum BS in related field (Engineering, Food Science, Procurement etc..) Minimum 3 years work experience in CPG company or related dairy experience Microsoft Office proficiency Direct experience working with Manufacturing, R&I and/or Dairy procurement preferred. Strong project management and project leadership skills Ability to work cross-functionally both in corporate and Dairy Industry environment. Strong networking skills and credibility among peers
