supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for the Supply Chain
team. We are currently looking to hire a Senior Manager, Supply
Planning based in Broomfield, CO or White Plains, NY!The Sr.
Manager, Supply Planning is responsible for ensuring product, for
assigned Brands, is available to fill customer orders at low/lowest
landed cost, minimizing the amount of finished product that goes
obsolete or short coded, controlling finished goods inventory
levels, and maintaining a capacity plan (short, medium, and long
term). They are responsible for all aspects of continuity of supply
and customer service while eliminating waste and reaching lowest
possible landed cost. They are responsible for recruiting and
developing talent and leading team of Supply Planners.The Sr.
Manager will be key partner to Smart Planning team and o9 role out,
helping in process definition, establishment and continuous
improvement on core supply planning processes. This would include,
but not limited to rough-cut capacity planning, master scheduling,
finite scheduling, inventory setting based on service levels and
deployment. They will be key partners with Business Unit general
management and Supply Chain leadership on ensuring the efficient
operational execution of the Annual, Quarterly, and Monthly
Operating Plans. They will perform root cause analysis and
resolution for customer service and obsolescence issues (forecast,
production, safety stocks, deployment, etc.).Responsibilities:
Performs monthly rough-cut capacity planning by facilityTracks
inventory KPIs and sets inventory targets and tracks weekly
production metrics on assigned brandsProvides production guidance
and direction to finite production schedulers on target
efficiencies, target output, SKU prioritization, etc.Works cross
functionally to create a robust constrained plan for the delivery
of service targets.Interfaces with Industrial Planning and Ops
Finance to ensure monthly budgets are attainable and helps to
explain variancesDevelops robust processes and works to give
employees the opportunity to master the processes and the tools of
Supply PlanningPerforms inventory and production planning for
seasonal products and oversees plant execution on assigned
brandsProvides thorough production guidance, inventory policies and
KPI tracking, and minimizes product obsolescence on assigned
brandsIs expert in diagnosing root causes to customer service and
obsolescence issues: MRP settings, post-mortem analysis on
forecast, inventory, production, deployment, etc.Is Product Supply
lead for Program Management Office (PMO) projects that require
supply-side planning on assigned brandsPlans and executes tactical
customer re-assignment, cross-plant production coordination,
resupply, etc. when required to maintain high customer service
levels in face of production problems, unforecasted demand,
engineering projects, etc.Works collaboratively with IT and COE to
develop the IT toolset to enable core supply planning processesIs
S&OP lead for defining production, inventory, scheduling and
capacity metrics, aligning the metrics with Internal Manufacturing
and Contract Manufacturing team's corresponding KPIs and working
with IT & COE to enable tracking and reporting of these KPIsOn an
as-directed basis, balance workload with other Managers, Product
Supply on non-assigned brandsCollaborate with Demand Planning, to
develop, analyze and present Operations' recommendations for SKU
rationalizations to business teams on assigned brandsAccountable
for delivering annual obsolescence cost reduction targets on
assigned brandsIdentifies supply chain and business
interdependencies in his/her work and coordinates as needed with
other groups to drive customer fill rates at lowest possible
costThe base compensation range for this position is $103,550 -
$120,000 commensurate with experience. Danone North America

Candidate Qualifications:Education and Experience:7 to 9 years of
experience in Sales and Operations planning required, preferably
within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) or food
industriesExperienced in managing production planning/inventory,
capacity planning and deployment in a multi-facility
environmentBachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Supply Chain,
business or related subjects - will consider work experience in
lieu of degree of 9-10 years of relevant experienceExperience using
ERP and APS systems to manage production scheduling (Peoplesoft,
SAP APO SNP, ECC PP, PPDS, etc) is required. Experience with SAP
and o9 is preferred.APICS Certified Production Inventory Manager
(CPIM) certification preferredExperience in working within an
environment of multiple internal customers/business units and
multi-facility companyPrevious experience in managing direct
reports is preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Understanding
of planning practices and impact of inventory accuracy and forecast
accuracyAbility to communicate key supply chain facts and
recommendations at a Senior Executive level.Ability to work with
internal teams to improve processAbility to become deeply
technically knowledgeable (a Subject Matter Expert) of SAP SNP, ECC
PP, and to lead implementation of new scheduling toolset in the
futureAbility to plan/communicate/present and execute programs and
influence multi-disciplinary Supply Chain stakeholders to enable
successDemonstrated ability to work within a cross functional
matrix environment where responsibilities are layered throughout
the organizationAbility to create metrics, perform analyses and
create reporting independently, with minimal IT resourcesAbility to
lead teams to champion change throughout the organizationAbility to
develop managerial-type reports and analysisStrong quantitative and
analytical sillsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft ExcelSkilled in
continuous improvementDemonstrated ability to manage change and
develop positive working relationshipsExcellent communication
