Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to support
students across various grade levels, from Pre-K through high
school, in a vibrant educational setting located in Louisville, KY.
This contract position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful
impact on students communication skills within early childhood,
elementary, middle, and high school environments. Key
responsibilities include: Assessing, diagnosing, and treating
speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to develop
and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to
student needs Delivering therapeutic interventions across multiple
grade spans, including Pre-K, elementary (K-5), middle school
(grades 6-8), and high school (grades 9-12) Monitoring student
progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly Participating in
team meetings and maintaining detailed records in compliance with
school policies and state regulations Qualifications and desired
experience: Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Experience working with diverse student populations across early
childhood and school-age settings Proficiency in providing therapy
in a school environment, with familiarity spanning Pre-K to high
school levels Strong communication and collaboration skills to work
effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families Commitment to
supporting student development and fostering inclusive learning
